The Palm Kernel Cracker is a mechanized machine used to crack open the hard outer shell of palm nuts, freeing the inner palm kernel for further processing. Palm kernel is a high-value product; palm kernel oil (PKO) is widely used in food manufacturing, cosmetics, and soap production, while the palm kernel cake (PKC) is used as animal feed. Manual palm kernel cracking is extremely slow and labour-intensive. A mechanical cracker processes volumes in minutes that would take a team of workers hours, dramatically improving the economics of palm kernel processing operations.
