The Defeathering Machine (Small) is a compact, electric-powered feather plucking machine designed for small-scale poultry processors, on-farm processing units, and fresh-bird market vendors. It can process 2 - 3 birds in under 5 minutes, dramatically reducing the time and labour involved in manual plucking. The machine works via a cylindrical stainless steel drum lined with rubber plucker fingers. After scalding, the bird is placed inside, the motor spins the drum, and the rubber fingers strip away feathers efficiently producing a clean carcass ready for evisceration.
