AMO Noiler Chicks are Nigeria's unique dual-purpose bird, bred and developed by Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited (AFSH), the leading producer of day-old chicks in Nigeria. The Noiler is a registered trademark of AFSH and was first commercially launched in 2014, making it the first dual-purpose bird developed in Africa. A cross between broiler and cockerel genetics, the Noiler gives farmers the best of both worlds, the fast growth and efficient feed conversion of broilers, plus the hardiness, disease resistance, and adaptability of local cockerels. Male Noilers can reach 3 - 4 kg in 4 months, and females begin laying 120 - 150 eggs annually. This versatility makes Noiler chicks especially attractive for smallholder farmers seeking a sustainable income from one flock.
